Its the first norwegian class today. After more than a year, I need to face this language again.
But the class seems fun.

My norwegian class's going to start on Monday and I went to get the textbook today,, It took me fortune for this course and the books, so.. I gotta work hard on it.

I received the Disney Classic collections today, the CDs. ;))

A dream but not like a dream

I dreamt I was talking to my grandfather, I kept asking him to tell me the stories in the past, how it looked like in 50s 60s, etc
So we were like having a nice conversation.
It seemed so real !

Finally I get the portfolio done and went to post them today. Now just wait and see what's going on ;)

What a fantastic village here

I have been printing out the portfolio for 2 days at least already! ONLY PRINTING
Here I cant find the output shop, I try to print and bind by myself at home but the paper I chose to use is like 160g and a bit too much for the home printer, and I was holding 2 pages everytime ( its like A3 size in total, so half will be A4 ) easier for booking binding, so basically its 320g everytime to print. So I need to hold each paper by myself to print . SO MANY TIMES the content is mispositioned, not the exact place as the page before or after while I set everything already on InDesign , which means not workin during printing. I wasted so much paper and ink which are soooooo expensive here. god! it's so frustrating.

When I look for appropriate paper, it's either too expensive or the texture , the thickness are not right. When I go to this kind of art kid shop, things are just unbelievable, I was thinkin if they are trying to discourage people to study art.

A fight with whom

A few words of explanation right at the moment of conversation can avoid a lot troubles after.

Having a fight inside myself actually struggling a lot conflicts. 

But its good to fight sometimes so u know what kinds of person you are inside or what kinds of person you are dealing with.

Oh yeah have to mention , I watched a HK black and white movie produced in 1960 on youtube which is called ' The great devotion　‘可憐天下父母心’。It's so touching and it's really overwhelming to see old HK streets and life back to that age.

I wanna start to work with something about ages which is the topic I have been thinking a lot lately. yea..

A cheerful weekend

It's a nice weekend by having dinner at Monica's place with Chirag and Zalila.
The big thing I found out today is, I shouldnt put honey into the fridge! ;))

It's good to talk about plans, study and what's next to do after a big meal.
And I like the mango pudding :DD

But it's too scary to walk home ( even it's only like 5 mins walk ). It's too quiet here, nobody and no car on the street at only 12 am.

These days I have been checking the schools, and today I wrote an email to one teacher. It's so touching to hear from her and I suddenly feel so cheerful. There're only 3 teachers in uni I think very good and inspiring. Just shame I took only one of her courses and did it at the final semester. I learnt a lot tho.  :)

Guess what, I still havent finished this statement. Im getting old, and it's so difficult to just sit, concentrate and finish right away ( if it's about writing ).  :/

Anyway, it's a nice day today! thanks guys :)

I am a little bird

I spent the whole day writing the statement of motivation for the application. :/
The more I am writing, the more I realize I actually wanna study a lot.

Somehow I think studying visual arts, if one wanna be an artist at the end, a 2-year project based master study can help further develop own conceptual thinking and sharpen the direction that one's heading to. Well it's just one more chance to go further, so why not. Plus, I really miss working in the studio.

There're 3 academies I'm going to apply, all in Norway, One in Bergen, Two in Oslo :/ Actually there's one in UK I'm kinda interested but checking the tuition fee, there's no way I can continue to think about it.


I wanna change the environment. It looks like I cannot stay in one place for too long, like a bird.

I got a ' new ' laptop

Last two days, I was doing backup on my laptop. To save as much space as possible, I checked all the files and mostly photos. I realized there're TOO MANY pics. After 2 days, I finally get the selection and categorization done.  ;)
And I came up the idea that I m going to put the pics that I haven't printed out for the last 2 years or even longer into a flash disc then post to mom :)
I recalled a few years ago, well actually so long time ago when I first time did the backup on desktop, I burnt all the files and photos into CDs. I thought I already got all pics backup, so I erased everything on the desktop. When I checked again on CD, there aint nothing! I was so shocked and kinda sweating, I called people to see if there's anything I could get back the files! Becuz there were so many so many photos of my family and I havent printed yet.  I was crying so bad. My mom thought it was something very serious happened. It was truly serious. Til now, I still feel bad about it.

Anyway, after the big clean up, I feel like my laptop's quite refreshing like a new one :) haha

Last night I watched a movie, Donnie Darko. I heard it's kinda famous but, well I see no point :/
Now I'm going through Woody Allen's :)

Mom I heard you

This morning when I was still deeply asleep, I heard mom's waking me up for breakfast. And I answered as usual, ' O~~K~~ I'm coming...'.

When I realized I was 'shouting', I opened my eyes. I found it's not my bedroom, at that moment, I was so disappointed. I really really heard mom's voice. It's so real! It's not even like a dream.

I wanna go home.

The surface looks hard but kinda crispy. The bread is kinda soft but a bit dense. Hope to get better:)

Mom's happy tears

A few days ago I was browsing videos on youtube. By chance, I found an old song from 80's performed by a group of 70s taiwanese singers. So it's another version of We are the world.

Then I was checking each singer and realize I heard 2 - 3 of them from mom. I decide to find their CDs. 

At the end, I bought 2 albums on HK yahoo auction and they were directly posted to Mom. Mom got them yesterday and has been wondering who sent her these. 

Until today I called her to ask if she got the CDs yet. She was ssssurprised it's me! She's been so curious and didnt think it could be me becuz of the stamps and the senders handwriting.  

hhahaaha She's so happy and cried, which in turn I'm so so happy and satisfied :')

Home is where my heart is?

Feeling complicated.

Everyday I'm counting the time left to be home.
Every night I dream of being home.

Every second I think of home.

I don't like being here anymore. I just wanna be where I belong to.

Cooking day

In the fridge, I found the sour cream and the cottage cheese both are gonna expired tomorrow. So I found a recipe which I can use up both ingredients, plus the cream cheese. :)

At the end, I made the cottage cheese cake. It's in the oven now. Cant wait ! :D

I can say it's a successful one :) Very cheese cake! :D

The portion will take me a week to finish I guess. :P

Today is a special 'date'. 2012 January 2, so it is 1 2 1 2 . hahahha!

So far I got quite a lot responses from you guys, whatsapp or the comments here. Thanks so much! Maybe I will go back to facebook one day just to check the photos of you all. But my base will be here only :)

I was baking an angel cake at midnight yesterday but it's not so good so forget about the picture. Til now, the cakes I made are not so working :/ gotta try harder.

Tonight I tried to make shanghai dumplings haha it was okay but I prefer those I ate in the restaurant. :P

:P I just sneaked to facebook and I found so many messages from you all. Again Happy New year to you all :)

And Duckling, I know you guys were playing games on new year eve ah so nice to hear from all of you. :)

Johnson, I didnt leave you behind, I just bring you to a cool place here! ;) haha you can feed some fishes here after feeding your cats! ;))

Since some of you were asking why I dont use fb, the main reason is, lets say I got like 700 'friends' on fb, but whom I can really think of and LIKE LIKE LIKE maybe around 50 only. So if you receive my message, then you are one of those 50 ^.^ And most importantly, you are one of those whom I always like to share a lot of things.  :D

The first day of the year

Hello all my dear friends, I wish you all have a good start of the new year, and I do by starting this blog.

I have been thinking so long to get rid of facebook but thinking about my friends, I decide to move here to keep you all updated with my news. I sincerely want to share my bits in life truly to you whom I consider as my real friends.

Somehow I feel like back to high school time when I used to write a blog everyday. It feels good when I can read back. Otherwise, a lot of things would be left behind and forgotten. So I believe bits by bits, day by day can constitute a good life ahead.

Last night, I saw some firework from the window. Watching a classic animation, My Neighbor Totoro, eating the homemade cake, staying warm indoors, what a good way to step into the new year.
